FYI for those who have yet to file with TurboTax:

IRS form 8936 for Qualified Plug-in Electric Drive Motor Vehicle Credit availability to file was pushed back another week to 02/02/2023.

Chase Credit Card holders, the following Turbotax cash back offers are available to be activated:

Sapphire customers = $5 back
Prime customers = $10 back
Ink Business customers = $10 back

Turbotax gave me the full vehicle purchase credit after I entered my delivery date (11/22/2022) as the date I purchased and placed in service. But now it says my credit for installing the Rivian Wall Charger is $0. Is there a rule that prohibits claiming both the vehicle purchase credit and the EVSE installation credit in the same year?

Not that I know of…maybe see what the 2/2/23 update does?

I did my charger rebate 3 or 4 years ago with my bolt

I'm experiencing the same thing. The charging infrastructure credit disappears with the addition of an EV purchase credit.
