As a companion to the google Map and updates from this thread (RAN Rivian Charging Stations Locations Map via Google Maps - Huge hat tip and thanks to @Autolycus @TeamEV and everyone else providing info there) I thought it would be helpful to create a Wiki with all the current RAN locations so we can have a single information thread for each that people can easily reference to get a lot of information about specific locations all in one place. Things like actual location, nearby amenities, food/drink, quirks, tips/tricks, etc. For example, if you want to stop in Salida for a long charge (to no more than 80%, of course) and grab a bite to eat, myself and a handful of other people have left some good food recommendations in the Salida RAN thread.

Format - The list should represent all current locations from the map listed as Open, Construction or Permit/Planning. The list only notes the locations currently listed as Construction or Permit/Planning. A location with no note is Open. Links should be the thread on the forum with the most comprehensive information on the individual location. Sometimes this is easy and other times a judgement call might be needed. Ideally this will promote people to create specific info threads for RAN locations. My initial thought was to create something like "Wheat Ridge, CO RAN Info Thread (Planned)" that follows the (currently fictitious) location and we can just change the thread title to to "under construction" and eventually "open."

This thread is a Wiki, so update as needed and huge thanks to anyone willing to spend any of your time to help fellow owners out and maybe cut down on the duplicate threads .

1/8/23 Note: All threads I can find are currently linked. I tried to avoid threads that were about something else (ie trip report) and just mentioned the RAN.

Good idea. Thanks for working on it! FWIW I believe Rivian is working on something similar built into the app. It would allow folks to share favorite trips with charging stops and local things to do.

Oregon is doing pretty good as well.

A few more on the east side and there won't be much range issue in Oregon.

Looks like you're including Waypoints locations here too -- PlugShare users indicate the Waypoints in Wawona (just south of Yosemite Valley) are under construction, or finished, just not powered on.

I think it’s just RAN locations.
If the intent is to include waypoint locations, then there are a couple of locations in Oregon that are not too included here (and actually not a included in their own website)

Great idea! I also like the idea of focusing discussion of specific sites into a single thread for that site -- although I could also support region, state, or highway-based threads. Whatever the approach is, a more consistent approach, that's enforced at least a little by the mods with thread titling and merging, is needed as we get more and more sites.

For example, I know there's been some discussion of the Blowing Rock RAN, and I was going to add a link to that, but there are actually several threads with discussion of it. Is there any way to get those consolidated at this point, or is the best approach to start a new thread and copy+link to the relevant current information?

Where is there information regarding the permitting/planning for the Virginia RAN locations in Springfield and Tysons? I haven't seen anything related to RAN locations within the DC metro.
