Mine is xxx8542. I have a service appointment this week for this and a couple other minor issues.
I found a few relatively minor post-delivery things, too. Rivian followed up via phone call with some clarification questions about 5 days later and then never got back to me. I had to call to follow up and they gave me an appointment on 11/1. I then called with another small issue I had that I wanted to address (rear turn signal lights blink every 5 minutes or so when parked for no obvious reason). They told me to submit another ticket and that the issue couldn't be added to an existing service appointment. I found that really strange.

Anyway, we'll see what they do with my L3 charging fail. Please keep this thread posted on your fix. I'm guessing we have the same root cause for the error.

No issues with Level 2 Charging, both Public & at Home, but every attempt at even brand new EA and Chargepoint chargers results in "Unplug & Try Again" messages. even after reboots. These are working chargers with Porsches, Volvos, Ioniqs, etc successfully plugged in, FYI. Anyone else experiencing this?

I am experiencing the same problems since the last update a week ago. I have almost 8,000 miles on the truck and haven't had an issue with charging until now. It charges level 2 fine, but won't do DC fast charge

Sounds like you guys need to start tracking which software versions are experiencing this problem, this may have started with an update from Rivian.

First post for me... Love the truck, but.... Did a trip to wine country (Reno to Napa) last weekend (250 miles each way). Got all the way there, but on the return trip (basically uphill), I needed a fast charge. Tried EA, EVGO, Greenlots, with no success...As others have written, we had the EVSPs and a Rivian rep on the line for several hours trying to troubleshoot the problem. Definitely seems to be on the truck side, with either a port problem (hardware) or software (I'm running the latest rivian version). Rivian paid for a hotel night so we could charge at level 2 (12 hours no problem) and get home. Tomorrow they are picking up the truck to get it in to service. Not sure how long I'll be without wheels but we can manage. Have to say Rivian were helpful and bird dogged the situation over 24 hours as I dealt with multiple parties. I'm confident they will resolve the issue (hopefully quickly)!!1

It would be great if you could get a detailed response from Rivian when they do the fix (what was the specific issue, what were the troubleshooting steps they took, what part needed to be replaced etc.) and post it back here as it would expedite others getting the issue diagnosed and solved.

Really disappointing to read that people need to stay at a hotel to get enough charge to get home. And they need to hope that hotel has working, available chargers.

Yup.
Hoping Rivian builds out their Adventure Network but I'm not holding my breath.
Given the current dismal state of the public fast charging, my wife and I have decided to not purchase a BEV for now, we were seriously considering a Rivian. However, this isn't all of Rivians issues, I have read numerous other roadtrip threads from BEVs owners who got stranded because of crappy chargers, etc and had to stay at a hotel/motel.

I figure this major issue will hopefully start working itself out within five years and in ten years hopefully be fully resolved where a BEV roadtrip isn't stressful and filled with anxiety.

For now, when/if I get my R1T, I do plan on keeping my Jeep for road trips where I know charging is scarce, but a 2 door soft top Wrangler definitely has its own comprises as a road trip vehicle.

Just went up to Kernville with the family for the weekend and had an “interesting” experience. We rolled into the Inyokern Rivian DCFC to find that the truck would not initiate a charge with any of the chargers. It would fail out and warn to unplug. We luckily found a nearby 50KW charger that we could use, albeit slow with my unruly passengers (wife, 3 girls AND 70lb shepherd in their laps) not thrilled to hear we needed to sit around the middle of nowhere.

My assumption is the same as everyone else experienced. I didnt call it in as I had already read some threads about it and instead logged a ticket to get the family on the road. Im following up, but heres the interesting part… After that incident I planned our return from camping to go to an EA charging station as I had use their 150KW chargers with no problem previously. When I got there I realized they were all 350KW chargers, but gave it a go anyways. The truck and charger behaved and we were all filled up in about 18 minutes (Approx 30% to 80%).

So, for me, it would seem my truck can talk to all charger networks except Rivians…

While typing this I got an update on my ticket saying that it’s a module to replace. Must be a module specific to the Rivian charging network?

Got my truck back today and here was the fix for my Level 3 DCFC charging error:

Concern:
- Customer states: Vehicle not charging at DC Fast charger

Cause:
- Central Gateway Module internal fault preventing fast-charging. Replaced and programmed new Central Gateway Module and verified proper function of DC charging.

Correction/Remedy:
- Module, Central Gateway (Remove and Replace) - External Charging General Diagnostic

Has anyone created a list of working L3 chargers on the roads for the Rivians? It’s the one thing im nervous about…broken/defective chargers while on a road trip. I know there are apps, but something Rivian specific.

Since Rivian can conceivably use any CCS equipped charger, why do you want/need something Rivian specific? I use PlugShare all the time and have it set up to filter for CCS chargers if I want to do fast charging and then optionally add in J-1772 if I'm going to be somewhere for a longish time.

Sorry, Maybe I understood the issue incorrectly. I thought the OP said that other cars were using the higher charging stations while the Rivian errored out. Is this a Rivian issue or a EA issue? If it's a EA issue, I thought it would be helpful to know which EAs did or didn't work with the Rivian.
