But the user interface doesn’t make it clear that when I select All Season that it maintains the 275/60R20 size. It almost looks like the aftermarket choices are “unsized”.

I’ve got Mich LTX Defenders 275/60R20s and can’t tell what to do. I currently selected the Goodyear AT and my range went down, but I think that’s more accurate for me and my truck as my efficiency sux anyway. (Although the efficiency “boost” behavior of this OTA has me very confused)
Same, and same tires for me. My efficiency (G1 quad R1T) this morning driving to work shows 3.43 mi/kWh, which I feel is slightly too high :p. Expected range in conserve went down from 341 to 313. Efficiency before changing the tire size through the settings was ˜2.5

Because it's by design.
?

Factory tires were Pirelli, 34". Before the update I had 33" tires on, about 3% less in diameter, and the speedometer as expected measured 3% too fast (I didn't do the speedometer test with the 34"). The assumption is the 3% error is because the car is programmed for the 34" tires. Changing the tire size to 33" after the update appears to have no affect on my speedometer accuracy. The "design" is?

It is designed to read 2 mph faster than the actual speed.

You don't understand, never mind.
The speedometer is ’built’ to display a speed higher than the actual speed, using an offset of ~2mph. This is so that auto manufacturers are not on the hook if you speed: you cannot claim that the speedo said you were not and bring them into whatever mess you got yourself into. They don’t have a requirement to be accurate to a high degree beyond they must never lead you to exceed the speed limit.

If you are talking about something else, then your explanation is not resonating with folks here - and we are missing it as a result.

  1. Original 34" tires, assume car should be programmed for 34" tires
  2. Swap to 33" tires, speedometer before update is 2% fast
  3. After update reprogram to 33" tires, car is still 2% fast

It's likely mph rather than % (as per your own examples earlier in the thread) @brancky3 is spot on - #1 above would also have seen this - WE ALL SEE IT on the stock configuration - well documented and understood. It's why everyone doing range/acceleration testing etc is using an external GPS rather than the speedo to measure velocity.

I see a rally mode in mine which is new. I only have a dual max non performance (adventure trim). Is that something documented?

This appears to be the case if you have the AT package

Good to see higher than 4.

I do wish they increase the efficiency time frame to last 30 minutes or longer.
Meh, I think 15 minutes is the seeet spot…but how about user selectable timing? Low hanging fruit.

I have been in traffic jams for 10+ minutes many times recently (sadly), and during those times, my efficiency would obviously be the max - and useless - at the same time.

Agree - user selectable is the 'holy grail' so to speak.
