Me too but mid 2020 is still a late order compared to a lot of people on this forum. There are many many orders ahead of us and won't be a lot o production next year.

Did you order a Max Pack, Explore a Non-LE? If so, we’re supposed to hear by the end of December. If you ordered a LE, I would call Rivian as you should have received an email already.

Speaking of that, if we do get a date in the next two days, other than being an indication of our good looks, what will it mean? In other words what would your level of confidence in those dates be? And how would it correlate to the date itself? Does confidence go higher or lower with a more distant date?

Rivian is already accounting accounting uncertainty on their end as the dates get further out. My personal adjustment factor is probably doubling that window. So if it's June or July, I'd mentally assume June to September. That's with basically any manufacturer right now though.

I agree. I’ll add a month or two to the estimate but at least we will have a quarter in which our cars will be delivered. As of now we have zero idea if you aren’t an LE reservation.
