I think he gets his back on Monday?
That may be true for the OPs truck, but doesn’t explain “their disappearance” four pages ago; unless they are locked in their truck, at the SC, without WiFi or cell connectivity. ?

@ColoradoAdventure I'm curious if you know what parts of the truck they had to remove to do the repair/retrofit/replacement. I have a rack perched on the bed, and the builtright molle panel on the front of the bed, and wondering if I need to take all that off before going in for an appointment (which is not yet scheduled)

the powered tonneau was $1500 pre-price hike. the last time they had the price up on the website it was $3000. for those who want it retrofitted that like will not include labor costs. so it aint gonna be cheap.
I can easily see it being $4000 for a retrofit to a truck that didn’t come with PTC.

They most likely have to pull the top panel off by the windows and the back wall of the bed. that is if you still have the button to open the Tonneau on the drivers bed rail

I was going to say the same, $4k - $4.5k seems like possible pricing. I don't see the value add (personally) since I've only taken my manual tonneau off 2 times and it's barely slower than the power tonneau retracting :CWL:

Looks completely flat, while the original always bumped up at the joints. Mine is still working, so I wonder if they will retrofit it.
mine are raised 1/4 inch on the leading edge as well. Service said that was normal. Does anyone have truly flat cover?

They had to stand in the bed so I removed my crossbars that had a Yakima box on them. The service tech also pointed out that they have to remove the black plastic piece that is under the back glass off to be able to lift out all the panels. In doing this they scratched the spoiler but said they would replace it no problem as it was an accident on their part. Other than that I noticed they had the rear doors open also the entire time it was in the service center that day. Hope that helps!

Can you tell if they are the same slats, or if they replaced them as part of it?

if they replaced them, I’m tempted to stand on mine before the replacement to see how strong they are, just to test.
I actually still have one of the old panels from when mobile service came to my house and disabled the old cover a while back.

I will take comparison pictures when I get home this afternoon.

Some people have busy lives ?‍♂. I just thought it would be nice to post and let everyone see the new cover! Also, the Denver service center was not doing anymore covers on Friday when mine was getting worked on and I doubt they were taking in new service tickets on Saturday.

Here’s a post service invoice for those that don’t believe that I have the new cover.

Are you still feeling good about the quality/long term reliability of the replacement - without special "care"?

I hope this doesn't mean there is less clearance under the new tonneau cover? I've got some gear that just barely fits under my OEM one.
