I have installed a Drive into the open slot in the center console of the R1T. How can I make sure it is recording to it? Do I have to remove to view in my computer? Or is there a way to view in the truck or on the APP?

If you want to view the DriveCam footage, you'll need to eject the drive from the Rivian and plug it into your computer. You'll see a file structure on the drive and should be able to find your last trip. Note that the Gen 1 models saved a mp4 file every 15 minutes - one file per camera (front, both sides, and rear).

in my 2023, i can view all drive cam footage right from the dash without disconnecting the drive. i can view incidents, live footage, and all recorded footage from the various options simply using the dash screen. im glad I got such a large drive as it seems to record everything on our daily drives on just about every road.
