Visor mirror light?

Hello all, I received my R1S a couple of months ago. I noticed that there is not a light that comes on when I open the visor “vanity mirror”, neither on the driver nor the passenger side. It looks like there should be one. I can’t find information about this in the car settings or online! Is there no light on these mirrors or are my lights not working? Thanks!

I didn’t even know there was a mirror. I don’t need to look at myself any more than absolutely necessary… I already know I won’t like what I see

100% a light comes on. Both driver and passenger.

Of course. It may be a fuse that needs to be replaced or maybe try a system reset to see if that may help.

When I wiggled my driver visor just right, it would make both lights flicker on. I submitted a ticket and they replaced the driver visor - now it works 100% of the time. For some reason, it made the passenger light not work too.

TLDR; submit a ticket, they'll fix it

I restarted the display & the car- lights still didn’t work. I contacted Rivian and now I have an appointment at the service center (1.5 hours away) in January ?

Does anyone appreciate the irony that the poster who asked about the visor mirror light is female, in a male dominated forum? Totally perpetuates the stereotype, right?!

I say this not to be mean. I found it funny. Sometimes stereotypes are there for a reason I guess. Most men I know don’t wear makeup but society expects (demands) that women do.
