Volvo ex90 pricing and trims announced

At launch the base “plus” trim is $78k (including destination). Captains chairs are a $500 upgrade. Volvo did not lie when they said well equipped under $80k.

For $5k you can upgrade to the ultra trim. This adds:

- Air Suspension
- Soft Close Doors
- 21" Alloy Wheels (vs 20” on plus, plus can upgrade to 21” for $800)
- Laminated Glass, Side Windows
- Power Adjustable Side Support
- $0 option for the wool interior (removes power side support)
- Massage Front Seats
- Puddle Lights
- $3200 option for B&W sound system (only available on ultra)

Also for $5k you can upgrade to the performance version which drops the 0-60 from 5.7 to 4.7.

It will be built in South Carolina so if the battery assembly happens there as well it should be eligible for half the credit. I presume it will not meet the mineral sourcing requirements for the full credit.

Once the IRS announces the 2024 requirements Volvo will probably share that info. Right now no one knows what the exact requirements are for next year and so manufactures can’t announce anything.

Also presumably the lease loophole will apply just like the EV9.

I owned a 2018 Inscription version of the XC90 prior to my R1T. I loved the SUV, but hated the integrated Infotainment system. It was a mess, and I am thoroughly enjoying the simplicity of the R1T's infotainment by comparison.

Looks like it’s in the spec. sheet, along with a HUD. Man, I can’t wait for a car with Apple or Google maps in the HUD. Not sure if that will be this one.
