Has anyone had issues with the wall charger after the most recent update? Been using the wall charger for 1.5 years with no issue and it was a new breaker installed at the time. Ever since the recent update, it’s popped the breaker while charging multiple times.

I have not had any issues charging but do not have the Rivian charger.

You may want to take the cover off and check that the connections are still tight and not arcing. Sometimes they work loose if not properly torqued when initially installed because of the heat cycles.

After the update I’ve had to reset my breaker once and it doesn’t charge to the percentage I’ve set it to. I have it set to 80% and it’s been stopping at 79%. I also noticed my Rivian has more vampire drain than before.

Had to reset the charger as well, and it seems to either be stopping at68%, when I set it for 70%, or it goes up to 70, but then allows it to go down to 68% without the charger kicking in again.

I have not but check your amp setting in the vehicle and your mobile amp
Just wondering if setting changed( caused by the uodate)
I did experience charging issues after 2 updates ago but resolved after the previous update…

if this doesn’t work try CS, they were very helpful for me

good luck

Mine wouldn’t charge until I reset the vehicle and the charger (by flipping the breaker) and still took several plug/unplugs before it started charging today. Went to drive after a full night of charging to find the car still at 10%. Luckily I have another car to drive. I haven’t seen this issue the past 20 months of ownership and it happens the day after I updated the app most recently.

I've had these problems as well over the last 4 weeks (charger has worked flawlessly over the last 10 months). Last night, I reset the breaker and re-paired the charger with iPhone and Wifi. It worked correctly last night... we'll see if that solved the problem.

My Wall Charger is running software version 03.01.49 - wonder if that makes a difference?

I've had the same issue. Had an electrician out twice to verify that everything was good on my end. Put in a service request and Rivian had a new wall charger installed. Unfortunately, still having the same problem. I have to lower the amps to 30 in order to charge without popping the breaker.

I’m having this same issue after the update. CS is making me jump through hoops. My electrician verified everything was tight and getting proper currents. We have hard reset the truck, changed Wi-Fi networks and repaired to the phone, shut off breakers for a few minutes and nothing is fixing the issue. I can hear a buzzing noise inside the charger when it kicks off and the charger port turns red.

Anyone resolve this?

I just started having an issue with my mobile charger after the latest .34 update this week. Have verified that another truck with the previous .30 update will charge with my charger at my house. Interestingly I didn't have any issues with the .30 update that it seems like this thread started with.

I have had my charger for 16 months and finally got it installed just a couple of days ago with our solar installation. I have only used it once and it worked correctly, although I had to go back into the truck and redo my charging schedule. I am on firmware 3.00.20 I wonder if I should avoid updating the firmware.

I thought maybe my issue was software update related but now I think it was just a coincidence that the issue arose around the time my truck updated. I haven't heard of other people having any issues and I have an appointment to bring my truck in tomorrow to have the electrical components checked out. I think you can safely upgrade.

Mine no longer charges to the set amount and does not top off over night. Will go to 68% or 69% when set to 70% and won’t charge again without either physical unplug or setting the charge limit to >= 5% more than where it is at currently.

I’ll bet $100 it’s a software problem for me. Worked fine and as expected for a year. Other users reporting the same thing around this timeframe.

They borked something up (and trip meters are not settings - LOL)

CS told me to reset the breaker on the charger. I did. No change.

I’ll just file another service ticket (for a software problem)
