Warranty on a used R1T

picked up a used 2023 R1T quad 2 weeks ago, it had ~21K on the clock.
Today I brought it for service(suspension leak) and asked service advisor about warranty length.
He looked up my VIN and it shows FULL from the day I picked it up
3 years/ 36K (12v battery)
5 years/60K (b2b) and
8 years/175K(drive units/battery)

Has Rivian recently changed their warranty?

I also called customer service and they also confirmed the above length of warranty.

The warranty is from the original in service date, not the date you purchased used. You can chat with Rivian and get the original in service date.

That’s what I thought as well. BUT warranty shows until 2030 for a bumper to bumper and 2033 for battery instead of 2028/2030. Which makes in service date for a USED 2023 the year I picked it up.

Quads have longer warranties and it is from the original in service date

As a quick note, any vehicles bought from Rivian's Demo vehicle sales page (which is different from the used/pre-owned inventory on their main site) have their warranty coverage start from the date you bought it, not the date it was initially purchased by the original owner (like any other used car sale).

In other words, demo vehicles are considered 'new' when sold in terms of warranty coverage.

Yeah I think that’s what it is. Truck was service loaner during its life.

That's a nice bone for previous demo vehicles. Depending on your driving habits you may hit the mileage for the 12V and B2B before the years, but you are essentially getting a 10yr/175k warranty on the drive units/HV battery.
