I have an R1T I’ve had for over a year. On Monday I noticed sloshing coming from the rear drivers side door. I called service and they scheduled me for Tuesday the 30. I already had an appt for Feb 13 but they are getting me in early for just this one issue. Am I ok waiting another few days? Any risk of rust or damage to wires or anything vital?

If there's just a bit of water sloshing around, you probably don't have to stress too much about serious issues like rust or messed-up wires. But, you know, it's always good to play it safe.

In the meantime, maybe consider parking on a little slope with the wet side up to help the water drain away from any important spots. If you're up for it, throw in a couple of those moisture-absorbing packets or leave the doors open for a while to speed up the drying process.

I’m gonna try that. Thank you. Mostly hear it during hard acceleration and braking.

This is what service did for mine, this week. They described the water location as "rocker panels".

("Clunking" is their word. I told them I heard a dull thud, or bass drum type of sound.)

if it is the rocker panels, which it may be since it seems to be draining as I am currently parked on a steep incline, would my running boards be an impedance to them addressing this?

I have running boards, also, and they never even mentioned them.
