So, hard reset didn’t work. But it was because there was a second connector loose on the opposite corner of the vehicle too. Once that one was reconnected, the error just went away. Woo!
Nice work! Please do provide Rivian details of exactly which connectors were loose so they can make sure this doesn't happen again.

@mindstormsguy, would you mind please showing which fitting was loose and the tab that needed pulled to secure it?

Is it either the blue or red versions circled, or another fitting?

Thanks again, urtheman.

Forgive my stupidity, but I don’t want to assume. These connections are located under the car near the wheel, right?
I’ve had good luck with my truck so far but definitely want to know what I can do to solve non-mechanical problems.

I’d have turned around and gone back to the service centre.

But then it might’ve taken them a week to find what took you a few minutes ?

since the error still appears, there must be a persistent DTC. guessing it will say which connection is(was)loose, if looked at with their diagnostic tool.

Once the second connector was also plugged in, the error cleared.

Yes, these are behind the wheels, at the bottom of the shock. But if you’ve had your truck for a while and haven’t had an issue, I’d say yours is clipped in, and you’re not going to have the same problem as me.

Glad you fixed it but speaks to poor assembly or QC. With such a low throughout at the factory they can spend more time QCing vehicles but still many things get through it seems.

We can only hope the new mfg guy from Magna is charged with placing quality at the top of the list. Good for customers and probably even better for the company over the long term.

Just curious, both front, both rear or mixed wheels?

Im not sure you could lift each corner anyways.. as you would have to put the suspension is lift/spare tire replacement mode. And it sounds like that part of the menu is currently/was locked out?

Opposite corners. Front left, and right rear

I didn’t try, but it probably would have worked. Air suspension still worked. It was the damper adjustment that didn’t change.
