Im not going to disagree with anything your saying because it appears you have some experience in this field. That said, i buy uniforms for my crew at work that is resilient, comfortable, looks good and purely by luck is printed and / or embroidered locally. Above all its a fraction of these prices. I have a sweatshirt thats comfy, manages truck grime and seems to shrug off emergency situations and fluids like a champ. At 1/4-1/2 the price of this stuff.
By this comment you appear to be a "value buyer". Buyers like you do not respond to high end products, and in fact are usually repelled by these sorts of prices. There are ways retailers take advantage of your attitude as well, but that's beyond the scope of this thread.

Don't think of it as $215. Think of it as 19.5 shares of RIVN.

I was gifted a Rivian duffel bag/ backpack and it’s a very high quality Mystery Ranch Mission Duffel 55. I've only seen the clothing they sell up close a few times but it seems to be quality stuff for the most part.

Yes it's expensive, but I would rather see that vs an $8 Gildan t shirt that is made for someone who is 4' tall and 6' wide with 2" long sleeves.

I wish people would realize costs are relative. If Jeff Bezos bought the 2k dollar phone vs the 400 dollar one it wouldn’t matter at all on his overall financial picture. He’s earning more than that in interest daily.

Typically the more expensive stuff has more features or is put together better than the cheaper stuff and often times spending more on the premium product is cheaper in the long run as it performs better or lasts longer or both.

The Count put a deposit down on a Rivian hoodie in 2020 and is still waiting for a delivery estimate.

The t-shirts and hats I’ve purchased IMHO have excellent quality for the price and not really overpriced compared to the competitors

I personally am not value shopper specifically. Its known far and wide by my family; given 3 items without price tags, ill pick and buy the most expensive item. Due to my position I find myself shopping for others who are on much stricter budgets. And theyre all animals and can break anything. So I really try to work the ven diagram of cost, quality, and comfort. I want it all.

This is the definiton of a value shopper. Value isn't all about price, it's about getting the most for your dollar I.E. the best value.

I bought my first Tesla in the early days, and received a Tesla coffee mug gift at vehicle pickup.

I now use it to clean up after my dogs in back yard.

I'm really happy with my green Rivian t-shirt (says it was "made in the USA", which hopefully is true). And my green Rivian water bottle. So when I step down out of my green Rivian, with the green interior, I can really look the part. ?

Jokes aside, anyone remember the branded axe Canoo was selling? ?
