So it’s been raining a lot in the last two weeks here in Maine. This morning I had most of the tonneau closed. So the top was dry. I opened it all the way and loaded our bikes. Got to NH, unloaded the bikes and then closed the cover again. See attached photo. Thats kinda wet. My question to you all, where is the water sitting that did this? I know there’s been some water retention issues with the doors. They’ve been pulling drain plugs that have been getting clogged. Is this a new potential issue or am I missing something? Thoughts?

Mine does the same thing, and I have a theory.

The scraper will have some residual moisture after a rain (or in my case - just coastal fog/mist). The first few slats that retract from full-open will pick that moisture up and it stays on the slats when they're down below. They do not dry when down there, and return to the top with water again.

Another option is tiny gremlins peeing on them when we're not looking.

3rd option is aliens.

Mystery solved. Most rain is made of water.

The water almost certainly came from the sky. You can solve the problem by moving a few thousand miles in the south-westerly direction. The sky down there doesn't have any water in it.

But could it be peeing aliens? Or alien gremlins? I want to leave no stone unturned.
