There are vehicles for all peoples. Some are right laners and some are left laners. Nothing wrong with staying in ACC mode. There are places and times where more performance can come in handy, for those that desire more, it is nice there are vehicles made to carry that dream forward.

There is a time and place for >100mph. Like, coming home from the Home Depot carrying strapped down 2x4s with that little orange strap nailed to the end that waves like a tiny flag.

Going over 100 on a race track fun!!! Other roads ehhh no. Not trying to make a mommy and 4 kids in a minivan die.
