Let's get a poll of how many people are cancelling their orders.

So that I can know much sooner my R1S delivery gets bumped. :p

Everyone, go cancel your orders!

I mean regardless of how we feel being mislead or not, the deposit is refundable and there was a disclaimer as mentioned above. They'll feel the backlash in the number of cancelations.

My RS1 jumped $16K today and I was already iffy on whether it was worth it before. I'll hold on to my spot for now I guess hoping they do something about the price between now and then, but as it is now there is no way I'll actually pay that much. So disappointing.

I just went to do a chat and I’m #50 in line. Haha. Glad I’m not a CS rep right now. I don’t even have the credit card that I put the $1k deposit down with. Wanted to ask about that if I do cancel.

Utter disappointment. Cancelling my LE pre-order (08/2019). No way I can justify 90k for a brand that barely has any vehicles on the road. Is it time to sell the stocks before trading starts tomorrow?

Mine went from 72 to 91k almost 30% increase. That is a real kick in the nuts. This is bad news for them and us. Cause everyone will keep their place in line and many will drop out when it is time to pay. So company will be a paper tiger.

would a price tag over 80k cancel the tax credit also?

Since my price has now gone over $80K, does that mean I can't get the tax credit now?

Trying to keep some sense of humor, but going through the seven stages of grief, I am now thoroughly pissed off.

When faced with any other auto maker “market adjustment”, $10K price addition above MSRP, or other such bullshit - in 100% of those cases I will not visit that car dealer again.

I get inflationary price pressure, but as many have succinctly stated here, this is no way to treat your reservation holders.

Wonder how much else in the earlier executive lawsuit is accurate?

frankly I’m of the opinion the only way they Take any of this to heart is if there’s a massive cancellation movement. Complaints clearly go nowhere.

Yeah, I was just asking that as well.

There's no MSRP cap for the current tax credit in the US.

So in a couple of years Rivian will be known as "that company that briefly produced pickups back in 2022 but now just produce delivery vans for Amazon".

...or the Ford R1T
