With Spotify Service Down, What Do You Listen To?

The internet is seeing major outages at this time and Spotify is a casualty of that. What would you listen to? I would listen to HD radio. I did see one video clip that HD was included!

Podcasts (usually downloaded with Overcast, sometimes through other players or web interfaces), Audiobooks (Audible, Chirp, downloaded from my local library), music from Amazon or Apple. In the past I used the MLB app a lot to listen to baseball games, but may not be a thing for a while. I always have a few podcasts and books downloaded, ready to play. Been a while since I've listened to radio.

I would hope you just log into your existing account and get access to everything. But I wonder if it'll let you download music to listen to when cell service isn't available. I'd hate to resort to Bluetooth via my phone to get downloaded music. Likewise, I hope the built-in Spotify app uses one of the higher quality audio settings rather than low quality to save bandwidth.

The vehicle I test drove had FM/HD available, maybe someone who has taken delivery that it is still in the latest vehicles.

I wish the R1T had tidal natively on it!

Not really a big fan of Tidals app to how it suggests music for me based off previous searches. I'd choose Spodify over it, but I get amazon and tidal for free with my phone plan and can't justify a third service. I guess having lossless music is a good thing, but my many years of rock concerts and shooting ensure I can't take advantage of it

Me too! However, if they allow audio over USB at some point that will be good enough.

I've found Tidal's auto generated playlists to be better than spotify's so far.
The suggested stuff based on searches is very, very confused for me, as I fed it a decade of last.fm

Their app is not nearly as polished as spotify's for sure, and I miss collaborative playlists and some other stuff.

But the audio quality is noticeably better than spotify(at the hifi setting...the lossless one is just a gimmick, I can't tell a difference from their high quality setting and it), the app doesn't try to shove podcasts at me, and they pay artists more fairly which is very good.

Whatever happened to Spotify HD? Wasn't that supposed to be a thing by now? I wonder if the Rivian is capable of taking advantage if/when it materializes?
