Not dedicated, but it self levels automatically when you park.

Thank you, a nice feature in many circumstances.

But do you happen to know if there is an ability to not have the truck self level? Depending on the degree to which the truck does so, it seems it would border on dangerous, especially on more sever angled surfaces.

In everyday use, every time you step out of the truck the ground would potentially be a different distance from your seat.

Does the Air Suspension have an Entry/Exit/Loading mode which allows you to set the Rivian to squat to lowest level for entry/exit/loading?

Can this be set to lower the suspension automatically every time you put the Rivian into park?

Can't be turned off as far as I know, but I'm sure there are limitations to how extreme it will level.

If you get out once you park, and not dawdle, you'll be out before it levels.

I'm sure, but it is buried in some menus and is not something you would do on a regular basis.

I'd avoid a bike inside as well. But if I had to, a "dog hammock" would mitigate to some degree. timesinks, who has taken delivery posted some nice picks of one option. I think in the "ask us anything" thread.

yeah, saw the same photo. Having had the wonderful experience(s) of having bikes stolen from inside my SUV, locked to a bike rack on the back of my suv, and off my 3rd floor balcony. I try not to leave my bikes anywhere I'm not these days.

This was retconned in the newer movies. The Kessel run is a standard-length trip but the whole 'less than 12 parsecs' thing came into play because Han actually took a slightly alternate path that was shorter. There is debate over whether this was considered making the Kessel Run or not, but regardless, and as much as I hate the retcon of it... it makes sense.

One is Fantasy (SW) and one is Sci-fi (ST). That explains everything. I don't judge their relative strengths based on accuracy of science, for the above reasons (I love both. Have tattoos of both on me.)

Since I live in Winnipeg, which is nearly as bad as vancouver for bike theft, I basically don’t leave a bike unattended anywhere except in my basement in a locked room. And if I do have to leave it out of sight i just assume it will be gone by the time I get back. No matter how it’s been locked up.

I know someone who had a bike stolen from a locked garage despite it being locked to a wall. Thieves sawed through the studs. Took a chunk of wall, the chain, the bike….
