Any "March-April" delivery people contacted?

Loving my truck. Everything seems flawless, built so well. The 20 inch wheels look even better up close. It's fun getting stopped by enthusiastic pedestrians, some were taking pictures. The last few days I haven't been able to sleep well. I'm waking up before 5 just from excitement , wanting to drive. Am I alone in this? @AdamL @godfodder0901 @Khaneric

You are not alone! So far, no issues and nothing but fun. Took the family on a road trip to Portland this weekend and there was no shortage of people looking and giving thumbs up on freeway. Someone thumb up’d so hard, almost ran us off the road.

If I were running things I'd have done it in the opposite order if you're conjecture is right. The longer they make us FE's wait, the more likely we are to switch to BM. If they'd pumped out all the FE first, nobody would have switched, thus no money lost.

It's whatever raw materials are available.

Coming home Saturday evening, a couple in a Lucid (not sure which model) paced me on the freeway and giving a hugh wave and smile! People love the color and love the truck. And that includes me!

I did receive my R1T, today March 28th, around 12:30 pm and all went well. I had an exceptional delivery person. He was very thorough and took his time. My long wait is finally over. Hopefully everyone's experience will go as well as mine. A beautiful truck.

Got mine today! What a machine!

Drove it home from Atlanta to Tallahassee (about 270 miles). Stopped at a 350kw EA charger along the way and it peaked at 194kw and took it form 29% to 80% in 32 minutes. I wouldn't have charged that high but I was chatting with someone in a Kona EV.

I had the same experience at a charger. You can’t get away from all the people that come and want to chat, lol!

I am still waiting on a guide contact, too. Every day brings some anticipation for that call/email. I am trying to be patient. It is great to see so many others with delivered R1T's.

Thanks Bob. Pictures don't do the color any justice. It's way better to see it in person. It is everything I had hoped it would be, plus more. I found it to be too fast for me though, so I'll be driving in Conserve mode until I can get used to it.

correct. There is no longer time to get deliveries out by the end of Q1. This was expected.

My guess is they switch to batching OC interiors, have a 1-2 week hard core QA on the new interiors and then rush to get the March/April OC deliveries out by the end of April.

Then we'll go back into silence/slow contacts while they play around with batching and have another rush at the end of June to meet Q2. Wonder if we'll see them requesting people to switch to OC from BM for the Q2 deliveries.

In my mind, the biggest unknown is when they start batching the FE interiors. or if there are so few that they'll have guide contacts before the vehicles are built to ensure they aren't overproduced.
