I just updated my signature...My gut is still telling me this is nothing to get excited about.

I wouldn’t completely discount. Someone with may 21 order just got a guide.

Congratulations on getting a guide! Though I gotta admit it's hard to be too happy for you. It doesn't make sense for so many that ordered a LE or ordered years before. Must be your configuration?

I'm a January 2019 preorder who chose not to go Launch Edition. I have preorder number 5,502. My issue is likely choosing Compass Yellow. I have not seen any of those be delivered yet. I'm located in Kansas City, about 7 miles from the service center in Olathe.

I'm still not holding my breath. My pricing flipped back Sunday, and included the powered tonneau and the cross bars I had selected. Yesterday evening a guide was assigned. Now today, my config is missing the powered tonneau and cross bars and the guide has disappeared, however, my order is still locked. All part of the growing pains of a new company...

Color isn't your issue. They're only delivering LE's right now, and have stated adventure deliveries don't start until later this year. That's why a few of us are a bit miffed that a non-LE holder in this thread has a guide when so many of us LE holders do not.

I would have agreed with that statement until very recently, but there are reports on here and Reddit of adventure package R1Ts getting a locked configuration and/or guide assigned.

When there is a report of one of them getting delivered, then come talk to me. Especially come talk to me because myself, and others, will lose their minds at Rivian for skipping over LE holders to deliver adventure vehicles.

I posited in another thread that the only reason this is happening is they overproduced BM interiors and after 3/1 they lost enough orders they have too many trucks now. Tho with that being said, if they're going down the list asking people if they want to switch, there are still more OC holders that haven't been contacted, and none of us FE holders have.

So, Rivian better not deliver an adventure trim before I get my LE

Guide does not equate to delivery people.....and the guide was removed from my account as of this morning. We all signed up w/ a brand new company delivering a brand new product w/ brand new technology. There are bound to be hiccups, errors, etc.

Again, we have to understand what we signed up for and help improve the process.

Sorry to hear you lost your guide.. but kinda not sorry too

We're all in this together, and hopefully we ALL get our trucks/SUVs soon!

I'm in the same boat, but hopeful for a factory pick up tomorrow. Waiting on the PBA.

Good luck and dang a factory pick up would be really cool. Got the call this am. If everything aligns, i'm picking up someone else's truck who bailed last minute. Gonna test out the A/T's in our slushy roads.

Guide called with the bad news that my truck won't be ready tomorrow. No factory pick up for me. Re-prioritized for April at home.

Ouch! Sorry to hear that but better off with a sorted truck even if it takes a little longer. I'm working through the steps to hopefully pick mine up tomorrow/Friday at the service center here. Trade in value was terrible so keeping my winter car for now.
