To follow up on my previous comment before I take my R1T out for a drive. Gear Guard is active but not working as far as I can tell, HVAC is off, parked in my garage. Most recent experience:
I unplugged 4/3 at 7am and didn’t drive all day Sunday, 24 hours later I went from 70% SOC (191mi) to 68% SOC (185mi). Parked in the garage.
Gear guard is on but I don’t think it is working, I went out and was rocking the truck back and forth and it didn’t activate. Car definitely woke up (drive me, drive me) every time I walked by with my phone.
Also the other day I noticed a much larger drop during the day. I had left the HVAC on and I assume that every time the car sensed my car key it turned on? Not sure but lost like 5% SOC in less than 24 hours. Ive started turning it off after every drive.
- Pulled my R1T off the charger at 7am Sunday 4/3 at 70% SOC with 191 miles of range
- 24 hours later it was at 68% SOC with 185 miles of range
- As of 4pm I am now (31 hours later) I am at 181 miles and 66% SOC
10 miles of lost range then equates to 4.6kWh of lost battery over 31 hours which in turn translates to 150W of average power consumption while idle. That does seem like a lot to me.
Just for comparisons sake I haven't charged my EV6 since 3/29, also to 70%. It is still at 69% SOC.
