Nah, the Rivian will replace the old F-250 diesel plus (most likely) the 2014 Tesla.I mean... she has a point. Time to sell the MME.

I check this thread pretty often and while I say Rivian Blue is my backup I can’t make myself take it seriously as an option. My eventual guide may have the final say if color happens to be a variable to get my vehicle sooner but for now my first choice is Forrest Green.Alright, you guys win. I originally reserved FG in 2020 and then switched to RB after the initial stuff came out in september. All these pics of Forest Green are just great - so dynamic in bright light and looks great in dark. Locked in. The baby Range look of Forest Green / Ocean Coast / Bright 22"s is gonna be worth the wait into 2026...
I was worried about how it looked when it's not in direct sunlight too. When I went to the service center to see it, one of their green trucks happened to be in the shade. Still looked great.I've been a bit back and forth on colors. My initial config was FG. then I went to Blue because I just love how bright it is. After seeing more of these pictures, I'm back to FG. I don't like how dark it looks when dirty or not in direct sunlight, but when it's clean and in sunlight, just wow.
This helps. I don't see many green vehicles on the road to give a good proxy. But I saw one the other day (when it was overcast) that looked dark enough at first pass that it was hard to tell it wasn't black. I really want this to have enough pop and vibrancy to stand out even in low light situations.I was worried about how it looked when it's not in direct sunlight too. That was my worry as well after seeing a couple of photos where... it looked black. But I saw one the other day (when it was overcast) that looked dark enough at first pass that it was hard to tell it wasn't black.
Jealous! I was there a week ago and they didn't have any FG in the lot, which was the one color I wanted to see.Recently at SF Service Center. Not stellar photos, but good “real life” representation of FG.

It’s been an agonizing question for me. For a while it was Limestone but I don’t know that I’ll like that long term. So as lame as it sounds…. My back up color is white.Since I know everyone on this thread has impeccable taste in vehicle colors, I thought I'd ask y'all what your backup color is if Rivian CS asks you to be "flexible" with your config?
So... What's your backup color?
Mine is Midnight.
