So what’s the trick to easily get this hose tightly wrapped and back in the bag? I predict the majority of these will be unpacked once and then tossed in the gear tunnel.

That is where mine is now after a few attempts to pack it up.

The answer you seek will also unlock folding a fitted sheet perfectly, and refolding a map in one motion

I had another bag laying around and put the compressor hose in that. Then it goes with my spare. The empty bag now houses my bike tools, grease, pump, etc and lives in the gear shuttle door. Gonna use the bike tools way more than the hose.

I threw a 50 foot hose in the spare tire area.

Just throw out the one you have, buy a new kit from the Gear Shop for $115 and never open it. I’m assuming that’s why they’re selling it there.

I just took the tire sealant etc. out and put it in my tool bag in the sub-frunk, so the bag is just the hose and adapters. If you just coil in a small circle about the diameter of the bag and then velcro it down real good, you should be able to pack it in. It's pretty flexible so you can compress the bag as needed when you pack it into the gear tunnel.

I did order a shorter coiled air hose to keep in my bike kit, since the Rivian hose is overkill for airing up a mountain bike, but I like to have it in case I need to reach the tires.

Do you have a link to the shorter hose you ordered?
