I know others had complained about the size of the brakes... but I love the size of those front calipers.

I love the blue in the photo. I assume it is "Rivian Blue" but it looks a little darker which appeals to me, I always thought Rivian Blue was too bright, but my wife likes it so that is the preorder.

Funny how the lighting can change things.

I changed my config to Rivian Blue and am hoping its more like that photo. I know the lighting condition it's in will make that change, but some photos look super teal and as much as I want to be driving in a moving tiffany's box, I'd rather it be slightly darker.

Interesting that the rear assembly line sill guards seem to be a bit off (look at the RL one, you can see the red difference with the opening). Probably from the R1T line? Could mean the R1S test line literally just started.

I kind of thought about that too. After a couple of BMW X5M (15.6” and 15.2” rotors) it almost feels naked without big rotors (they work amazing also), but that would probably eliminate the 19” wheel package and with a 200hp motor on each wheel the regenerative braking capability probably means you really won’t need much in the way of mechanical brakes. ??‍♂?

Wondering about the black composite looking panel where the front fender goes, labelled with a green R, and the sill panels labelled fr (front right) and rr (rear right). Thoughts?
