Supposedly it's a rebranded Wallbox unit.
I heard that rumor, but wasn't that based only on the Wallbox website using a R1T in their product images?

My Rivian Wall EVSE was manufactured by Lite-On. Maybe Wallbox is too? I'm not sure.

Will rivian release a feature to disable the green light bar on the charger?
No doubt! The whole side of my house pulsates green all night when I'm charging. Neighbors must love it.

I think you can turn that pulsing off on the Vehicle/Exterior Lights page.

You cannot currently change anything about the EVSE lighting.

Not through software anyhow….

Nothing a little spray paint or duct tape can’t solve. YMMV. I don’t recommend said adjustments

I thought he was referring to the front light bar on the truck.
The lights on the truck turn off when you lock it, anyway.

The issue is the EVSE stays green all night -- even after charging completes. I park in a garage, but the door has a row of windows at the top, and even then there's an eerie green glow in my driveway at night.

I do like the light, a little, but I hope they add some PWM controls so I can dim it down. It's way too bright.

Mine is inside garage and I consider it a free nightlight. But I do agree....should be able to shut it off. Till then I would hit it with black electrical tape.

Same version for me.

I'm really hoping for some options for this thing. It is in a garage, but I don't plug in the truck all the time (haven't been driving a lot plus a free DCFC close by) so the constant white pulse gets annoying.

You could take the cover off and disconnect the LEDs but maybe the front one connected.

It's daisy chain system starting with the controller board to the right side, middle then left. I would assume they're addressable but you MIGHT be able to unplug the left side and right side then maybe plug middle straight into board.

Also looks like you can unscrew the frosted plastic panel to maybe paint.

Or just leave it. :p

It would be nice if it tracked the actual charging time instead of the connected time.

Mine was installed in May. I'm currently on V03.01.49. I seem to recall an update over the summer that was supposed to fix something with the session logs, but now I can't even find how to retrieve the session logs?

The R1T is my first EV and charger, so is there anything else it should be doing?

I would like to see the session logs returned, and yeah, I wish there was a way to turn off the cyclops or reduce the brightness. Other than that it seems to do charger stuff ok.

Oh, my original charger was defective, and the replacement came from Lite-On in May. I'm not sure if that's the same folks that make Wallbox or not.
