I decided to check out under my driver mat after seeing some other owners online raising light to some water issues in the cabin.

Lo and behold, I pulled the mat and found water marks on the carpet on the driver side. I washed the vehicle on Sunday, and it was still wet last night when I looked; it has not rained since last week. I feel like it may be drain related...

Conveniently, USB fan for the win. I left it plugged into the back seat 120v for a few hours and things seemed to dry up. (Unfortunately in the 2-3 weeks of using the little fan, poor motor burnt up and it died! RIP)

Updates...
Sept 7
Service appointment day, I checked my app and see the work description details have changed from the original verbiage.

Will provide an update when I have one from the SC.

Today's update from the SC, they are waiting for "HVAC tape" to come in tomorrow so they can finish the fix. Looks like I get my truck back next week...
Sept 9
Whelp, today I called into service and requested to have ATL call me with an update after hearing nothing for another day. No call...disappointed in the lack of information once again.

The inability to be able to reach the team who is working on your Rivian is purely frustrating.
Sept 12
Today's update from ATL, still waiting on HVAC tape.

He did mention they replaced the HVAC controller(?) as there was a faulty part causing a clog and that is where my water was coming from on the driver side. They are hoping to receive the tape today and truck done tomorrow and schedule it back to me the next day.
Sept 14
No update Tuesday, which was when on the last update they expressed the truck work would be completed.

I call Rivian5 this morning for an update, he speaks to someone in ATL and they say the refrigerant has been evacuated from the system so they will have to charge it and there was one other thing that I didnt catch that had to be done as well, they expected it to be done by the end of the week.

At this point, it seems apparent they have not been telling me all the information and have been setting false expectations with me when the work would be done on the truck, only to get my update today that included "by the end of the week".

Needless to say, I requested a callback from the ATL service manager so I can actually find out from someone that hopefully knows the full scope of what they are doing, what a true expectation can be, mindful to the fact that I am leaving town this weekend for a week...they had assured me the truck would be back without any issue prior to my trip.

Also asked for the service team lead to get involved from Rivian5; and he said he was going to escalate the situation over to immediate needs as well.

All I want is good information, and to know what is really going on with the truck. At this point there seems to be the question of what work is actually being completed and how much is left to do since they stated they simply needed HVAC tape to finish and be done same day...clearly that was misleading.

All of this frustration could have easily been avoided if they would provide valuable and informative details to the vehicle owner.
Sept 15
Received an update from the service manger at Atlanta yesterday, he stated there was a shipping /freight method delay for a part which was the cause for my truck being at the SC for over a week. It was a mishap, and it was a Rivian whoops when the part was ordered. The truck will be finished this morning and on a transport this afternoon back to me before I head out on a trip first thing Saturday! Once I have the service ticket details and a full breakdown of work done to resolve the water under the driver carpet issue, I will share. I should have those details later today.
Sept 16
Last update...the work was completed yesterday morning. They arranged transport back to me same day as I am leaving town and they were rockstars and arranged for it to be back prior to.

Here is the invoice details related to the water leak into the cabin floor area...

Case closed. The truck is working great so far, I'm excited to be able to use the cool down feature again and not worry about pooling excessive moisture in the cabin!

Mine too.. reported it to rivian. I think it's coming from center console or passenger side. I dried it with dehumidifier and found a trail from the console area.

They got my ticket to "engineering" and will be looking to schedule the truck to a SC for remediation.

I'm guessing AC condensation coming from under the cowl/dash area but who knows.

Please share the root cause and SC solution after a diagnosis by Rivian techs.

It's hard to believe that the R1T has been in production for almost a year already. I would be curious to know when 2023 models start production. They will most likely copy Tesla and 1/1/2023 will start 2023 production.

Is there no condensate path routing under the car I saw someone else post just wet spots under the panels like it just finds its way out and drips *somewhere*, which would be concerning.

Noticed water in the same place today. Let us know if they were able to fix.

I have this problem and for me it is definitely more extreme with rain vs. AC Condensation and it seems to happen with the car is sitting in the rain vs. driving in it. I have service tomorrow as well and will let this thread know what comes of it.

I couldn't come up with any rain factors contributing to mine. I will be curious to see what comes out of your SC appointment.

Nothing like good old HVAC tape to fix a condensation leak.

I don't see any sign of a wet spot on mine...yet. Once I get my all weather mats, this would definitely become a mold problem.
