Some more info for Canadians from the AMA with Tony on Reddit today. Link to the question and answer reply:

Most important bits from that reply (to me) were:

• Does not sound like a staggered start for Canada. They are planning to deliver both R1T and R1S vehicles by end of December (I wondered if they would just start with R1T and follow later with R1S)
• Test drives starting next year (guessing the at-home ones). But a viewing event in Vancouver area soon (believe this was mentioned in the last enail too - although I think that implied test drives...seems viewing only)
• You can already make an appointment and go see an R1T at their "Customer Engagement Center" which opened late Sept. This is new. I didn't realize the public could make an appointment to go see an R1T here. And an R1S coming soon.
• Gear shop won't be available in Canada before deliveries start. So if you want any gear. Order it with your vehicle to avoid disappointment

I had a chance to go the Venice hub last month. If you are in Vancouver area - it's worth going to see the R1T in person!

Did anybody else add the factory PPF to their configuration? Debating it, I usually wrap my whole car in PPF and then put ceramic on top of it (Alberta is cruel to car paint), but might just go with the Rivian option for the front half for convenience.

I'd like to add it but didn't want to make any changes because it removes the camp kitchen immediately. I believe we can add these once the configs are locked after a discussion with CS (when we know our delivery window).

Want to make sure they honor the original camp kitchen price.

Thanks. Sorry I didn't add the address/location in my comment above. I wasn't sure where it was myself as I am on the island. I assumed it may be the yaletown location, but Tony didn't actually say *where* the customer engagement center was.
