I think I'm more impressed with the RV trailer than the R1S! Or maybe "surprised" is the right word, since I've already been indoctrinated on what Rivian can do.

Agreed. He does not offer false praise. His enthusiastic endorsement is a big deal if you have been following him for awhile.

And let's not forget that, in North America the iX doesn't tow...

I’m he’s tested PHEV variants of various SUV brands such as Jeep and Land Rover. I don’t think it’s a technicality when he says it is the best electric SUV he’s tested, but even if it was, the second qualifier is that it is one of the best SUVs (in general) that he’s tested.

Considering how anti-EV the overlanding crowd has been, and I’m active on ExPo so I see it, this is a glowing review. The call out about no off-road towing is great feedback. This is the first reviewer to comment on that and they’ve been covered by nearly every media outlet for the last year.
