Why doesn't Rivian badge the Quad?

The dual motors will eventually enter the market which is good for Rivian's future, but they don't distinguish the quad motors from the others like Tesla does with both their long range and performance trims with the DUAL MOTOR and the red underline. Seems strange for marketing department to skip this non-trivial distinction.

I've never been a fan of badge overload. Would be too much going on if they added another one in the rear IMO.

Personally I don’t need more badging. If I know that I have a quad motor that’s all that matters to me. Everyone else can find out when they see me on the side of the road getting my 100th speeding ticket

I fully agree.

Rivian should redesign the R1T tailgate emblem to incorporate Dual or Quad lettering on the bottom. No more emblems are needed.

I agree, it would be nice if it had a GT or some other badging to indicate it was a performance model. I can understand why not but almost everyone else does. Audi has two types the S and the Rs, Mercedes has AMG and BMW has M series. It would be nice if Rivian got their own letter designation for performance.

Label the Dual Motor "Deuce"
Then commission a Beach Boys tribute band to create a revision of "Little Deuce Coupe" and a youtuber to post a viral video of the Deuce outperforming everything but the Quad, with the new songs as soundtrack.
Of course calling it a Deuce does have its downside....

Until the dual motor is delivered we don’t know wether they distinguish between the two with badging or not. Maybe the quad has a cleaner look and the dual motor gets a dual motor badge, you never know.

IIRC, at one point it was mentioned that the yellow accents on the exterior badging were going to be quad-motor specific.
