12 volt frunk power outlet is back! > in my just-delivered 2023 R1T (mid 18000 VIN)

My vin ends in PN018xxx

The P (before the N) = 2023
A N (before the N) = 2022

So it's a 2023. I dont think the reset they vin for R1T, but could be wrong.

I just picked mine up today 2/17/2023 and no frunk charger.

So strange, I picked up my R1T today and it does have a frunk charger.

I get the 12v but is that second magnet really doing all that much for you?

My money is still on redesigning it to only have a single magnet, and whoever did copied an older frunk revision without the 12V socket, and no-one caught the mistake until they had already made a lot of them. The ones without the 12V socket don't have the depression in the tub there, so it's not just that they didn't cut the hole out.

Ha! OK, I'm on the same page now. I've seen people complain about the 1 vs 2 magnets and am genuinely interested in knowing if there is a functional difference.

That might actually be verifiable. A lot of panels have a vender code on them. I haven't pulled my frunk tub out but this is the driver's side panel in my bed.

Lol, nope. OEM, same as the loose plastic covering the electronics.

I'm a bit nervous since mine will be 182XX so I hope they started popping them back in by that point, but I guess we'll see. Waiting for someone with a lower 18XXX to confirm.

I am 182xx as well! Fingers crossed!

We pick ours up this coming Thursday; High 17,9xx vin… We’ll see how it plays out… Would be nice to have, but can probably make do either way.
