Thanks! I know your configuration is just around the corner waiting for you, my friend.Wow that is sharp. I have always thought that the bright 22's don't look good on anything, but the Yellow and the 22 Brights are soulmates - that looks awesome!
Ah, very astute! Thank you. That would explain why we're seeing R1S Adventures in the Shop with the compact spare tire. But I wasn't aware that post-March '22 R1S preorders were being delivered ... maybe that's in another thread that I missed. Or maybe that's coming s00n.It appears that all of the post-March orders are required to select the "Off Road Package" if you want off road tires and that package includes the underbody and compact spare. It's as though they are building in bulk only for post-March off road orders.

They could just be refining their final assembly process for the eventuality of that being the bundled setup. Just because they're making that configuration doesn't mean they're delivering to post-March preorders.Ah, very astute! Thank you. fwiw - my guide simply said delivery should be about 6 weeks from now.My guide made it sound like leaves Normal 4-6 weeks plus time for shipping and inspection at local SC.
New R1S all seem to be over $80,000 for pre 3/1 customers. Are they just trying to keep us from getting the $7500 tax rebate? I saw at least three vehicles that were $80,450 all because of the spare tire being included at $450. Rivian, if you are reading these forums, please remove the spare from the R1 shop and we promise to buy the spare in the Gear Shop even though it isn't available until "Summer" or when ever that might be. The tax rebate is something that shouldn't be lost over a blow up tire.Anything new in the shop today?
No worries. Everyone signed Contract to keep old Tax credit rules.New R1S all seem to be over $80,000 for pre 3/1 customers. Are they just trying to keep us from getting the $7500 tax rebate? The issue with the binding contract is if the IRS ever challenges it. If that is the case, we would be better off being below $80,000 and taking the tax rebate in the year it was actually earned not the August 15 binding contract period. Anyone have any thoughts on that subject? No worries. Everyone signed Contract to keep old Tax credit rules.
That will depend on the battery materials piece, won't it? We'll have a better idea on the 18th, IIRC.The issue with the binding contract is if the IRS ever challenges it.
