Nice find with Cumberland Mall. That’s an ok-ish location, I guess. Pretty close to I75 and 285, but traffic around there can be a beast, so it wouldn’t be a quick on and off the highway location.

Anyone know if charging at RAN is still free? I’ll be driving down from Cannon beach to Crescent city in a couple of days and plan on charging at the 3 RAN sites along the way. It will be my first time using one.

Yes. Through the end of the month was the last I think Rivian advertised.

thanks for that update. I did not know there was one in the works for Clare - I expected Saginaw to come online next. Timing is good - I'll be trailering a car from SE MI to Traverse City in a couple of weeks and will take advantage of this one unless Saginaw opens by then!

Nice to have a local dcfc. Without or with, wouldn’t be much use to me.

I will be glad to have some kind of working 150 kW+ DCFC close to me especially if it is a reasonable price. I have had several occasions where I need to charge quickly to make an unexpected trip and I can only find 50 kW chargers.

How far is the Electrify America station on Thousand Oaks drive from you?

I think there will be options. See permit requests for an EA station in the Target at the rim and a Shell EV charger at the gas station at IH-10 and Wurzbach. Think it used to be a Texaco ages ago.

Thousand Oaks for me isn't convenient at all either as I live near the Rim. Good 20-25 min drive usually.

Was at La Cantera today just to get out of the house. Nothing changed per usual.
