I'm literally waiting on tint right now. Will be getting 20% ceramic on front driver and passenger windows. Windshield and all remaining windows and roof will get 50%.

It's already been too hot in Georgia to wait on tinting and it's only going to get hotter.

I tinted the glasses all around except the roof. It still gets pretty hot in Colorado summer last year. Now I’ve just got the roof blackout shade from Amazon. I’m hoping this would make it a bit cooler in this summer. Will see.

I live in Phx, and just like azbill mentioned, it gets inferno-hot here. Heat is the enemy of electronics. Hope Rivian put automotive grade electronics into their vehicles!

does the vehicle do this automatically or do you have to enable this in a setting somewhere? on my vehicle, this turns on sometimes but sometimes it doesnt even though its reached a temp thats as hot or hotter than before when it did turn on.

It’s that glass roof that makes it worse. What are the reasonable benefits of an all glass roof with no shade anyway? I made my own roof shade and you can tell the difference.
