We had a similar noise we noticed while traveling. It only occurred at the end of a fast charge and stayed that noisy until a few mins into the drive after leaving the charger. This was in 90+ degree temps only.

That isn't normal and would drive me crazy. My R1T makes noises on start or during battery preconditioning (navigating to a fast charger). But still nothing like yours.

Oh thats not good. I have like 20 items I need them to fix, still trying to get an appointment.

AC fan noise I thought it seemed loud but assumed it was normal since it an EV and no engine noise to cancel it out. Will compare to loaner once I get one.

Mine is a bit louder than that and it rattles the dash too. I have to press it down so it doesnt vibrate so much
Did you take it to the service center yet? Curious if you are getting "This is normal, don't worry" response that I'm getting

Mine started only on hot days but now is fairly constant. Seems to be getting worse.

Wow 20 items that is not good. Fro
Your signature looks like you have a very new build so I had hoped assembly quality had improved, but apparently not.

Yea I just got mine 6days ago. Few panel alignment issues, few speaker rattling issues and 1 super tiny bubble on front passenger window interior(this one pointed out by tint guys and so I couldn't get window tinted :/)

I just called them and got confirmed appt for upcoming Tuesday

The dallas center did not fix my speaker rattle issues. They put some damper on it and it still rattles with high bass music. this is 2 months ago. I'm bring it back end of this month for same issue

It does not seems normal compared with my R1S. Hope they can fix it soon.
is it fan related? the noise fades if you lower the fan speed?

The noise does not fade when you lower the fan speed. The only thing that works is to totally turn off the AC which my wife has started doing when she drives in parking lots. The noise is also really loud from the exterior. Someone told her it sounded like a weed eater.

Ic. though mine has different AC issue (noise during AC on/off), my SC thought AC noises could caused by overcharge refrigerant. Maybe you can mention that to your SC so they can check.

I did noticed loud fan noise when i turned it all the way up, but it subsided if I lowered it. Like i said, the Dallas center is not very experienced at what they are doing.

My main problem with the Dalla service center is they think this is normal. I can't get them to admit the loaner and my R1S sound different. What recourse do we have as consumers when you can't get something fixed? This is obviously a subjective issue as to what is too loud.

My wife always send an email to the CEO of the company if they do not fix the problem. In this case, It should be RJ.

I sent RJ a direct message on Instagram this morning. I'm not sure how to get his eMail. Please send to me via private message if anyone has it.

I really appreciate all the feedback. I'm frustrated and lost on how to get my vehicle fixed when the dealer will not acknowledge the issue.
