With EA having continual problems with chargers in Florence and Waltersboro. It would be great to have Columbia and Florence at a minimum for additional North<->South travels.

NC already has Blowing Rock, so it just needs any one of Cherokee, Charlotte, or Henderson, and I think all 3 have the pedestals on site now.

Looks like there's some recent movement. Person who took the photo assumed it was going to be Tesla superchargers, but the site is clearly set up like a RAN site rather than a Tesla one.

VERY exciting news, since I got my R1S last Friday and my wife and I love to visit GSMNP and the BRP. Now I just hope this one gets turned on faster than some of the others.

We enjoy the BRP as well and drove much of it last year. Turned out the NC part is the most scenic and has the best pull-offs.

There is strong EV support in NC for all brands.

FYI, Aside from Tesla monitoring of their sites, they also have some quarterly voting by Tesla owners (tesla. com owner login required).
Cherokee got very high up on the leaderboard so I'd expect one there when they can find the business to support it. The casino does have ~12 J1772 (30A 6kW [or 3 is shared per comments]) chargers in their parking structure currently.

The Saginaw, MI location is now online and working great. Location is also showing up in the truck, Rivian app, and ABRP.

Last I heard there wasn’t much progress but that was mid spring. Did you stop by on Monday to see if they were any closer?

I didn't stop Monday but did today on the way back. Sure looks close to being live to me. I don't recall any pictures prior to this one today, but the equipment is all there waiting to be unwrapped. Front Royal, VA is now on watch. It's a pretty nice location too with lots of food choices.

Saginaw is online! That's 35 sites. They've got a few more that are really close -- possibly just waiting for the utility to flip the switch -- I wonder if 40 is possible by Friday?

Looks like RANs have 6 stalls at each site @ 200 kW. More than other CCS1 providers but way less (1/2) than other networks. Hopefully RAN build in expansion capability.
