What did you lock as your final configuration? Post up pictures of your beauty you snagged from the shop.
It's weird, now that I'm into the 8 Steps (Only down payment & payment to insurance company left, as I wait for a delivery date.), I cannot see any picks like I did before selecting from R1Shop, so here's a snip from "Vehicle Summary":
Rivian R1T R1S latest VIN for R1S 1689530671199

Last email I got from my Guide "Maggie" was "Tarkus" (My name for my R1S & my avitar) was on a train from Normal to Atlanta, GA. I even got a "Welcome" text from Atlanta SC. Oh and I'm headed out of town for awhile, so....

Sweet build. I love the underbody shield. Do you plan to change wheels to go off-roading with your bash plate ?

Ty & Noppers "Bash plate" was extra from R1Shop, I did want 21" for my job for best milage per SOC, which includes E911 Wireless Drive Testing Nationwide (state-by-state, one county at a time, per day...). I can't wait to put this license plat on it:
Rivian R1T R1S latest VIN for R1S TX License Plate (TARKUS)

It was the only yellow plate for TX.
I will be in PA for a week or two before returning to Atlanta Service Center to swap out the company provided Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid I've been in for 18 months to my Tarkus & use it going forward. Company will pay us to use our own vehicles

My buddy has that plate. I like it.

Good choice

Another datapoint. I just picked one from the shop yesterday! Compass yellow R1S. VIN 157XX. It must be a really recent build.
157XX is the highest R1S VIN I've seen.

I probably should've got the 21's and bought Dark 20's afterwards but got it with Dark 20's from Day 1. It's super quiet with the RUS but would probably get the AS tires as well. I thought I read that if you get AS tires, the range still won't calculate properly based on the AS tires and will still show AT numbers? Anyways good luck with the new sOOn Bumblebee!
It depends on the tire size! If you go with the stock size 275/65/20 for AS you don't have to do anything because the size is exactly the same as AT tire.

If range is the absolute top priority, you can go with a 275/60/20 tire. Overall size is going to be the same as 21, just less wheel and more sidewall. In this case recalibration is ideal but the word on the street is that Rivian refuses to do it. It's still fine to ride like that without recalibration, just have a mental note that your speedo is 3% off.

I'd stick with stock sizing to minimize curb rash and prefer the look. I'm considering AS tires for a tiny bit better performance and range during the warmer months and switch back to AT winter time. Appreciate the feedback!

waiting to pick up my 124xx. ended up switching my config to one available in the R1S shop, the only difference was no front PPF or compact spare with this config, but had the blue and dark 22" tires i wanted.
curious if any one knows if this is an older config that's been sitting for a while or not?

In terms of production rate, if we're at 16,xxx now, and my pick is 12,5xx the first week of July, then in 3 weeks roughly, Rivian is producing 2.5k R1Ses.

So, that's about 830 R1S/wk or 41.6K vehicles/yr if sustained.

Clearly not accurate, per sa, but is in the ballpark enough that if you add the R1Ts and EDVs, they can easily pass 50k projection and get close to 60k run rate.

It is encouraging.

I'm still waiting on 130xx and I think those were made in late June, so I don't really think yours would have been sitting around that much. Crazy how fast the VINs are going up now.

The count was around 75 - 95 per day total of 525 - 665 per week at the start of June.

To step up to 118 per day is reasonable middle of July.

Hope there aren't too many teething issues with this step up

I preordered my R1S 9/2021 and just got the 8 steps and VIN on 7/10. My vin is 014XXX which seems old no?

Got the "ready to leave the factory" email on 7/14. My guide never proactively reached out but I've texted with him and he says he estimates 5 more weeks. Argh.

Seeing that we are just seeing 15k now 14k is pretty new.
