Scheduled Charging: Are Friday’s not the weekday?

I have the charging schedule set for weekdays past 8 PM. When I plugged in it started charging. Today is Friday at 6 PM. When I set the option to “Daily” it pauses as it’s suppose to.


Why is it charging when the “Weekday” option is selected?

Dude, I had the same issue last Friday. I set my charging for weekdays at 830pm til 930 am. And I got walluped last Friday

This happened to me last Friday and today. Contacted Rivian support and they want pictures of the wall charger (cord connection into my detached garage, faceplate off photo of identifying numbers, photo of the pins on the charge plug, pictures of the circuit breaker for the wall charger, picture of all other circuit breakers in the panel) and pictures of the charge port.

Prior to that they had me do a vehicle restart followed by turning off scheduled charging and back on. I asked them what day the truck thinks it is, no answer...

Now I've got to find a security T20 bit to get the faceplate off...

***edit: I forgot to add, mine is set for 11p-6a weekdays. Haven't had an issue in nearly a year doing this till now. Plugged in both days at 5ish and immediately started charging ***

Mine did it the last 3 Fridays. Definitely something new since last update.

Its a bug since the last update. I reported it to service last week. hoping it gets fixed. For now, i just left my schedule on everyday and it works fine.

I am not certain I fully understand your situations, but I believe a new day begins immediately after 12 midnight. So, if I am right, on Friday beginning immediately after 12 midnight would be Saturday which is not a weekday. Maybe it is charging until midnight Friday, then stopping because the weekend has begun?

Seems like the latest OTA resolved this issue? I didn't read the notes closely, but just plugged in and it didn't try charging right away.
