One thing I generally dislike, and that this new UI is guilty of, is ambiguous toggle buttons.

The app shows a button with a locked lock on it: does this mean pushing that button locks the truck?

Or is it currently locked, and pushing the 'lock' button actually unlocks it?

Just use a slider or put the current state somewhere else, sacrificing clarity for some perceived UX improvement is misguided IMO. I'm going to be paranoid forever now when I check to see if the truck is locked remotely.

This is currently a bug due a firmware mismatch. This feature will roll out with firmware 2023.30. Currently upon app update/reinstallation, the "liftgateClear" value is defaulting to false in absence of the proper initialization from the car (2023.30 will provide the appropriate value based on the vehicle's sensor fusion).

For now, you can reset and fix this by activating one of the other functions (venting and closing windows is generally a safe remote operation).

That is the case. Now i can use the lift gate button even its blocked by the garage door

Connection appears to have gotten much better. With previous version there were times where I could obtain status update. Anyone else notice the same?

I think it is an improvement over the lock/unlock on the other version. You see the current state and pushing the button changes that state. Thumbs up from me on this change as the other version seemed to have more ambiguity to it.

It was immediate as soon as the new version of the app downloaded. Do you have your R1 plugged in? that's the only way you can see the wheels.

Plugged in, app was already updated and showing old-original wheels.

I'm seeing the same. Utilization for the month ending 7/19 was 73.84MB (which included a road trip where app utilization was higher than would be at home). Since 7/20 I'm at 535 MB. Don't have a daily breakdown or chart so can't zero in on update date, but it's massively more than any other month I've had the app.

Same. Downloaded this morning. Up to 511mb for the month and the biggest previous high was 56mb.

PAAK doesn’t work any longer either. Needed to move the T and, after opening with the App, got ‘Present key to Shift’ message. Showing the T is offline, can’t connect.

Not a great start.
