No issues with A/T's on 91, 241 , 15 and 55 today. Driving from Temescal Valley area. Idots on the road are a different story lol.
Is an Idot an Idiot that is missing one eye?

Enjoyed the constant rain all day from our rooftop terrace. Love the rain. I didn’t go out today though because LA drivers are horrible in the rain. I didn’t feel the earthquake just south of LAX either.

I stayed home knowing there are idiots out there with bald tires. No thank you. I’ve got my snacks and my booze. I’m good.
Exactly. We aren't avoiding the rain, we are avoiding SoCal drivers who can't drive in the rain.

Meh, just a little rain. We stayed home today and watched movies and ate popcorn. Didn’t feel the need to go out.

My wife is a teacher in Anaheim and they canceled school tomorrow. My kids school is business as usual.

I am exited to spend the day with my wife, but I really needed to get some writing done tomorrow. Oh well.

I know most got away pretty easy from this storm which was mostly a steady rain with a few short-term downpours. Wind was modest at best. But, there were areas that got over 12 inches of rain in a a day and suffered from notable flooding. Fortunately, the storm took a turn to east as it reached California, thus most of the wind was out over open desert areas and spared most of the heavily populated areas. We were quite fortunate it wasn't worse than it was. Thankful to report no damage at home. My trash can got carried from one end of the property to the other by one of the heavy downpours! That was about the worst of it for me.

How fast were you going and how old are your tires? I went through a puddle*(lake) on I 90 at around 65 and there was no hydroplaning. There was enough water to splash water all over the front like a water fall and cover windshield a solid 2 seconds.

My other car with extended family did hydroplane a little. Rivian tires were new, other cars tires were at half life. Also Rivian is about 80% heavier.

Lock her up! Lock her up!! LOL! But in all seriousness, I haven't ventured out, and don't think I need to today. But I did, in preparation, set charge limit to 80% on Friday (vehicle actually only charged to 79%) and thanks to vampire drain, I'm sitting at 74% after 48 hours!
yea. what is up with that ? it only charge to 79% even with 80% limit.

The hysteria is unreal. This is a tropical storm at best. What would happen if SoCal actually experienced a real hurricane. I think even a Cat 1 would cause mass exodus!! That being said I hope everyone remains safe and sound.

To be fair, CA drivers have a lot going on. It's not easy filming selfie videos of yourself braving a "treacherous storm", then creating a 57 hashtags (#RoadWarrior #Survivalist....), then posting on Instagram, all the while sipping your Birthday Cake Frappacino with extra soy milk (#KetoLIfe #Foodie).

How’s everyone doing? Who’s driving? My 21’s hydroplaned a few times in some heavy rain on the 210.
Same with me. NB on I5 in Anaheim area I hydroplaned briefly and let off the accelerator.

Drove through the storm after off-roading and camping. Got a little free wash. Honestly, easiest part of the trip. Luckily, the trails were pretty empty because of the hype.
