I thought there were a few unicorns that got out. I’m sure there’s a big backlog for this one. Vegan cows are supply constrained.

Considering this was the only option that didn't have all the wood, yeah, it's a bit disappointing. Not everyone wants wooden dashboards in their car. ??

Who knows.. it could be a Tesla situation in the making..
Back two years or more when there were a lot of used Model S's for sale, every other ad was "Model S Unicorn". There were so many "Unicorns" for sale I thought than might have been sub-model at one point

Everything about the vegan dashboard was weird.

They announced it at a time they were behind on so many orders and needed fewer variants. Then it seems like they never fully had the path to production worked out.

It didn't look bad, but why did they think they needed another variant in the first place....at the same price? I figured it was to mess with the wood component supplier, so they couldn't rake Rivian over coals on pricing. Maybe they got a nice agreement from wood people and don't need the threat anymore....

I'll miss it, if we got another r1 it would have had the vegan dash - though the wood looks awesome it's not easy to clean. After a few years of kids I'm worried the wood will look super rough...
