I picked up the Dodge wheels yesterday and spent a few hours cleaning them up. The tires are junk so I'm taking them off tomorrow. The rims look very nice when cleaned. I was going to have them powder coated but I think I will just use them as is. I ordered the centering rings and TPMS so now I'm ready to buy tires. Waiting for reports on 275/60/20 tires that people are using to replace 21 inch wheel and tire setups. Before and after photos below. I found them on Facebook Market place. There were a few sets in the Salt Lake, Utah area. My brother found a few sets in the Virginia area. I paid $200 for 4 wheels with tires. With a little more work I will have them looking brand new. I have a silver R1T so they will blend right in with the truck. If I get tired of silver I will have them powder coated but for now I have a usable set of wheels for mounting winter snow tires and I can use one tire from the other set of 21s as a spare. When I swap tires in the spring, one of the 20s will be a spare.

I went with Falken Wildpeak AT3W in 275/60/20 but our winters aren't so bad. SLC probably requires dedicated legit winter tires, yeah? The Michelin X-Ice Snow was my runner-up but I skipped because it's too warm here in winter.

I live in Park City so winters are long and cold with lots of snow. I have always had two sets of tires for my cars and use a dedicated snow tire in the winter. With all my cars I lose about 15% of my mileage when I switch to the snow tires. But, I never worry about driving in blizzard conditions either. The real benefit with dedicated snow tires is their superior stopping and maneuvering capability in all conditions. If you drive on dry roads with a Michelin X-Ice the tire wears out real fast so I try to wait as long as possible to install them and take them off as early in the spring as I can. I'm hoping to get reports from people who live in snow country out west who have experience with different tires but I'm thinking no one has had their Rivian long enough to experience several winters of snow. I might have to be the beta tester.

There is a previous thread on this "New Shoes" I have the General Grabbers AT and love them ... and can be studded if you need the added grip on crappy CO roads.

That is what I'm doing. At about 8K on the 21" OEMs with one rotation. Switching over to Cooper AT3 tires on the Ram rims in November until Feb./March when I'll switch back to the 21"'s.

Hey all - I've been eyeing a set of 2363s but in all my research and reading through threads, I see 1-2 people per thread commenting on the offset being too far off from OEM which can lead to damaging the suspension/bearings/???. Also keep seeing mention that the "scrub patch" will be off...

I'm a total beginner to trucks/wheels etc. Is there any truth to this? I've read that a 5mm offset difference from OEM is optimal, so a 30mm different seems "bad"?? Also seen some threads from other trucks saying they burn through wheel bearings because of offset. Just trying to do my research and protect the truck :)

Thanks in advance!

Interesting point though... since these aren't OEM, perhaps these wheels are best served in the least stressful conditions. What about putting some AS on these to run most of the year and slap the AT/snow on OEM 20" rims?

My worry is having the 7000lb truck sitting 'off-axis'. OEM lines the wheel up with the center of the bearing; shifting it puts the weight off-center so it may not wear evenly. In that regard, I'd want them on for winter or only when offroading to put them on for the least amount of time. Here in Eastern PA we have 6 seasons (including false spring and second winter), so swapping would get annoying.

The physics makes sense, but I'm coming from a Honda Civic so I don't have any real workd experience with trucks/wheels

For me, I'm using the 20" wheel to replace 21" wheels in the winter since there are no 21 inch tires in a dedicated snow tire. I'm not swapping 20s for 20s.

$550, very reasonable if you ask me.
That is very good price for your region . Got my 21" powder coat for the same price here in Dallas.
