$500 to repair / replace carabiner key fob

They did a cloud enrollment so when I put the battery in the fob and went to settings I was able to pair the fob to my profile.

My truck is in service now for a few things, one of which is a new key fob as my kids lost my original one and I was quoted $500+ for a replacement. This is at the San Jose, CA service center if that makes a difference.

I see that they did an $235 adjustment on your invoice. Was that asked for or just given to you?

$235 is what I paid for mine. Bought my R1T used and it didn't come with the fob. Had them remove the old and pair a new one.

$550 was the price for a new Land Rover fob a few years ago.

I think it'd consider using some epoxy to fix this...

Service center lost my fob so they had to take care of the costs.
