Which was stated in such language above already:The fact you don't think it's weird kinda says it all. A more mature way to state it would be, "personally, I don't mind the cost as the benefit is worth it to me" or "I'm fortunate my financial situation allows me to consider that as an option".
My case: If I plan on driving ~100 miles into off-road territory where there isn’t any charging, and camp, there is range anxiety that builds up.Adding NACs charge capability and getting access to the Tesla supercharger network is a much easier and way cheaper way to add 30-40 miles of range.
This max pack makes sense if you have to rely on the current CCS network and for a few unique individual situations
That is great news, but do note that it is only available on the dual motor configuration and not the quad.Nice!!

Max pack is only available with dual motors for both R1T and R1SThat is great news, but do note that it is only available on the dual motor configuration and not the quad.
Yes, I am really pleased with the pricing. Are you sure you get pre price hinge pricing for max pack on R1S? I heard rivian was being goofy about that because they never actually offered max pack on R1S originally.
Hang on. My pre price hike r1t is coming out to 80300. But that might be worth the mtcYes, I am really pleased with the pricing.
I wasn’t sure what they were going to do either. What I assumed they would do would be to offer the same pre-March base price, but charge full price of $10k for the max pack option. But they didn’t, it’s discounted to $7 (I had said six in my original post, that was my mistake). So I am really happy about. I know $7k is $7k either way, and this is just in my head, but to me it feels not as bad either because it sort of rounds to being an $80k car from either side, so it doesn’t feel as bad. Obviously that’s just optics, but it helps me
