maybe it is related to a patent issue? I am not sure why other manufacturers are not adopting this seemed simple integration/software upgrade.Hyundai and Kia have had that for years. Some Honda models had that as well but not sure if they still do.
Well you might not have the update because this is for the Rivian R1S.Ahhh thank you i have the RS1 and it’s still on .34 version so i guess it’s not for the RS1.
Correct the update is only for R1T and R1SAhhh thank you i have the RS1 and it’s still on .34 version so i guess it’s not for the RS1.
Optical illusion from the digital 'shadow'.Why are the wheels not symmetrical on both sides of the graphic like? Is the passenger side that much more inward?

also does this show proof my alignment is off lol

Looks like dog hair.I think that the screen protectors people put on phones and the screens in Rivians tend to be somewhat fragile and unnecessary (like a hard hat in many situations, your head would hurt from hitting it if you weren't wearing one, but you probably wouldn't hit your head if you weren't wearing one because of the increase in bulk)
... you sir may be the exception to the rule. Do you use scissors to make the selections on your screen?![]()
Just using a floor function, not rounding.Anyone else notice the new temperatures displaying ridiculous rounding errors?
The temperatures are rounded to integer in Celsius, then converted to Fahrenheit, then truncated to an integer for the display.
40c -> 104.0F -> 104
41c -> 105.8F -> 105
42c -> 107.7F -> 107
43c -> 109.4F -> 109
It will never show you 106 or 108.
Floor and trunc are synonymous in my mind. There's really no way to know if it's doing floor, ceil, or something else pre-unit conversion so I just used the less specific term round thereJust using a floor function, not rounding.
I got a similar message last update. When I went to the truck, it said something about it couldn't update due to low 12v battery level...which I am sensitive to since that was the first update I tried since having both 12v batteries replaced due to them dying. I assume the truck did whatever it needed to boost the 12v levels, and tried again 4 hours later without issue.I get an update error upon starting installation from the app. “Couldn’t Start Update, make sure the truck is ready, then try again.”
Any suggestions?
