Rally mode, gravel lot... Bad ending (tie rod)

Well, showing off for my teenage sons and ended poorly needing a tow.

Not sure how much this will cost me?

Or how long need to wait for parts/service in AZ?

Sucks, but it's just a tie rod. Should be a quick and easy fix.

This is an example of why Rivian will not release Tank Turn.

I'm pretty sure there's more to the story than just driving down a gravel road.

Easy enough to replace one yourself if you can get the part. Measure and count the threads, install the replacement identically and you might be able to skip the alignment. I'd still have it done though.

It was mostly my own doing... But definitely didn't expect it. I switched into Rally Mode in a gravel parking lot and was spinning donuts with the kids... Didn't hit anything, probably just tried starting the final turn a bit too quick attempting some extra excitement.

I thought I remember from the other thread that you had to replace the entire rack. Fortunately a few clicks in yields this part info:
