I have the 12V under the dash and will get an adapter. What is the power requirement?

USB-C; but it comes with a power cord that you can plug directly into your fuse panel. If you prefer to use (and have the feature) the cig lighter port under the dash, just get a USB-C cord that plugs into the cig lighter - this works too.

Yes, we support our product for updates as needed. We have been selling screens for Tesla for a long time, been fairly rare to need to update ??. But when doing so, it's simple process we can send a dongle to plug in for updates.

Ordered as I am going to give it a try. Tired of having to mess with the phone to change audio sources. Of course, since I have done this, SiriusXM and Apple music will get added in the next update by Rivian. . .

What is your source of information for SiriusXM and Apple Music being added to the Rivian native system? I will be streaming as it is my understanding the Rivian system does not have a Sirius Radio installed nor is there a satellite antennae - so the off grid availability will still be a problem. Would be great though!

@EV Sportline Have you guys been able to figure anything out in the wiring/firmware so this doesn’t boot up anytime you walk close to the truck?

One of my biggest complaints of mine is that when I walk into my garage, the truck boots up when it sees my phone nearby and then CarPlay will boot up and connect my phone. Very annoying when I am out in the garage or doing yard work nearby the truck!

Terminate the app on your phone when you are working around the house. Problem easily solved. I do this several times a week.

If there are two drivers (my wife and I) would it connect automatically to whomever is driving and has the phone in the car first? Or is it necessary to reconnect through the phone’s Bluetooth screen each time drivers are switched? That’s been a bit of a pain on some of the CarPlay units I’ve used in the past.
