What can we do as individuals or as a community to stress how much we need to be able to do hands-free texting while driving? Out of all the OTA cool features and enhancements Rivian has published, how come we are still missing what I consider a safety feature?

How about just hands and mind on driving while driving.

Hoping there are "under the hood" improvements to the navigation. I figured after the ABRP acquisition, they would roll out routing improvements. I use it every once in a while on longer trips to incorporate battery conditioning for charging and in my experience routing has not gotten better. Maybe it has and I've just not used it enough to see improvements. They are quadrupling down with their native navigation system.

Most of my routing has been fine, but there have been a few oddities. Like when I set destination from Boston to a ferry dock on Lake Champlain in VT, and it routed me across a bridge further south, up the NY side of the lake and then via ferry to the dock!

If all this works, then it will definitely be the most useful update I have seen.

Will solve a lot of your big complaints for sure.

There’s a multithreaded race condition in Tidal playback (possibly all playback) which I’m hoping they eventually fix. Mutexes, people! Cover your junk!

I know others have long wishlists... honestly at this point I just want them to fix Rear Accessory Mode so I can get Driver+ features when I have my bike rack on, and they can stick a fork in it.

The great thing about the fob being Bluetooth is that you can track it down with standard equipment when you lose it. The MAC starts with F8:55.
