I didn’t have a guide prior to that email. While going through the steps to complete transaction there was a small help icon which I needed to do and it listed a guide there. No formal introduction email though.
I have not had a chance to test drive. Will be nice if I can but will go through with purchase if I can’t. Located in Kingston and finding time to get to Service centre with work and family commitments will be challenging. Will use the 7 day return policy as a test drive.

I got a call yesterday indicating if I made some changes ... wheels had to go from 22's to 20's or 21's I could have my car by Dec 18th in Ontario.
I have been uploading documents all day, getting insurance, arranging payments etc.
The person I spoke with confirmed it would be delivered before Christmas

I was in Newport beach in October and test-drove R1S amazing!
Trying to figure out how to get the charger delivered have an electrician coming by Friday to review the plan and figure out measurements.
Also trying to figure out if I can get a winter tire package installed before I take delivery.
Then it's off to get an expel stealth wrap and hopefully have it in my driveway on Christmas!
Waiting for documents to be verified in the portal and for the delivery feature option to work. To the person above I understand they will deliver for $1,400 if in Kingston family work headaches etc I would be taking that option though a bit pricy. I'm 28 km from the service center and have blocked off Monday the 18th to get there. My office is 20 km away and more than one colleague has volunteered to drive me out

Spoke with my guide this morning, they are shipping the first Ontario delivery vehicles from Normal early next week (3-5 day delivery time frame from shipping). The Vaughn service center isn't yet open, they're still closing some work orders but it should be shortly.
My guide is checking in on the winter tire package options with the Vancouver service center.
My guide also confirmed the plan is to ship out the chargers before delivery.

That's awesome! They short on 22s or something? That's what is on my order as well. That's one thing I'm not sure I want to compromise on. The 21s have no tire choice and I don't want offroad tires.

Nice. You are in Kingston as well? I configured mine and still waiting to be able to do my next steps. Seems to be taking a while.

No Toronto 28 km from the service center. But I got the email out the service center radius last Thursday and was my tipping point!

Sounds like and the 21s make no sense so I went with the 20s for winter anyhow.

Yeah, 20's is worse case for me. I'd get 20-inch winters and then when the all-terrains are done could also get standard tires for the 20s and another set for winter or something.
My current thought was getting 20-inch fast wheels for winter, or maybe some RAM wheels. And run 22's in the summer.

I changed my configuration in hopes of delaying delivery a bit. My last delivery estimate of April-June was much better for me.

You can simply defer delivery. You don’t have to change configuration.

Just an FYI, the wheels that Fast used to list on their website that were close to stock offset, are no longer listed. I'm not sure what happened with them, but all they list now are very aggressive offset wheels for the Rivian. I am a tire dealer in Ontario and I can not seem to find anything that I can get my hands on right now. Black Rhino makes a wheel but my supplier doesn't even list them on their website yet.

Man, if they called me and gave me that option I would be switching to the 20's in a heart beat. 21's are a horrible size for replacements/winters, but the 20's are pretty easy and I really love the look of them. ALMOST as much as the 22's. Sounds like you are going to have yourself a very Merry Christmas!
