Mods For Less Cartoonish Front End?

Love the tinted or black look on the darker Rivian's. Don't love it on the light colored cars. On darker cars, it hides the design characteristics so those that don't like it, don't see it as much. On lighter colored trucks, it just makes these design elements stand out even more. This one photo's above, looks GREAT.

Still hoping someone can photoshop some black into the center area within the molded lines between the headlights and below the lightbar. Preferably on a lighter colored truck (white). Curious how that would look? Hopefully someone experience with photoshop can put something together with relative ease in a few minutes?? Please. Thank you.

OK, did a half-as s attempt at it myself.

My original idea is a thumbs down. Nope. Not gonna happen. (1st image below)

My second idea however, "MAYBE" has some potential. Again, this is for lighter colored trucks. Not necessary on the black or dark grey. Does help break up the all white front end and distracts some from the headlight design. (2nd image below) Looks a little more like a traditional truck that would have a dark center because of the grille that's on ice trucks. In this case, would just be painting the area black instead of color matching to the truck.

I SUCK at photoshop, so forgive the crudeness of my attempts!

OR THIS VARIATION OF NEARLY THE SAME THING......I think this has the potential to look the most "factory like"

Looks a little more like a traditional truck that would have a dark center because of the grille that's on ice trucks. In this case, would just be painting the area black instead of color matching to the truck.

Added the other angle, leaving a little bit of white above the actual grille. The last two photos appear to me that they could potentially have been factory designed.

Didn't read through all seven pages of replies, but the most common mod seems to be blacking it out. You can also get covers for the tow hooks (add a splash of color or black them out), and I believe I've seen a few threads about removing & painting some parts like the underbody shield (visible from the front). Also I'm personally a fan of adding brush guards to my trucks; there's a few currently "spotted in the wild". Including the Africa safari one and another one - recent thread on them here, a manufacturer is working on a design.

Edit: I also added an AVS bug shield to mine at the front of the hood. Adds a black bar above the lights. Just another idea for ya. ?

I bought the yellow and the black. I had one of the yellow ones fall off in a swamp, but that was after a lot of abuse and running over lots of shrubs and plowing through standing water at an above average speed. Otherwise these have been super durable through 10k+ miles and lots of automatic car washes.

Really like this look! The R1S I just bought is white and I think that looks sharp. It still retains the signature differentiating look while looking a bit more like it fits in with other trucks rather than VW busses. ? Thanks for the ideas!

I don’t hate the front end, but it is definitely my least favorite part of my R1S. Some black PPF done like one of these two might fix that.
